We want to tell you a little bit about our history, because we want you to know our origins. The Grand Hotel delle Terme Re Ferdinando boasts of a long and magnificent past. Its history began back in 1957, after the war, when Italy was rising again very quickly. That year the Marzotto family bought land on the salso-bromo-iodic water basin to build a large hotel on it, the most important at the time. One of the owners of that land was Don Isidoro Di Meglio, ancestor and forefather of the Meglio Family who bought the entire structure of the Grand Hotel delle Terme Re Ferdinando about fifty years later, first Jolly Hotel and then NH Thermal Resort & Spa, from the Spanish company NH Hotels.
Re Ferdinando represents much more for the Meglio family than a simple hotel to add to their chain of hotels: the Meglio family roots and its historical industriousness are found here, but above all the foundations of an Ischian tourism of past times.
For this reason, that sense of hospitality, familiarity and professionalism is praised at the same time, enriched by the quality/price ratio of the Dimhotels family.

Wellness Center

The Wellness Centre offers an accurate range of beauty treatments for face and body, with the use of products from the best national and international companies, strictly natural and targeted at regaining shape and beauty. The beauty treatments are perfectly combined with reactivating manual and mechanical massages, assisted by modern and sophisticated equipment (Alice, Skin Master).
Inside our Wellness Centre you can take care of yourself by taking advantage of the Roman Treatment. The process lasts for 30 minutes and is equipped with all the typical elements of a spa, such as emotional showers, thermal water pools, sauna, Turkish bath, Tepidarium and Frigidarium.

The Grand Hotel delle Terme Re Ferdinando exclusively uses thermal water because it is located on one of the main thermal springs of the island. This means the water is never artificially heated and it maintains its properties unchanged.
The salso-bromo-iodic waters of Re Ferdinando are hyperthermal and amongst the most mineralized in the island's territory. For this reason, they are appreciated by those who suffer from rheumatic and arthritic pains, they facilitate and reactivate the metabolism and facilitate the elimination of wastes and toxins.
It is possible to book therapeutic treatments (mud baths, thermal baths and therapeutic massages) by phone within the week before your arrival at the hotel.
